Silly Saturday for March 31, 2012

Time for some laughs!

After arriving at the lake early in the morning, they cut two holes in the lake and drop in their lines in the water.

After fishing for a few hours, Billy Bob has caught dozens of fish while Jethro hasn't even gotten a bite.

Jethro asks, "Billy Bob, what's your secret?" Billy Bob answers, "Mmu motta meep da mmrms mmrm."

Jethro asks, "What did you say?" Billy Bob answers, "Mmu motta meep da mmrms mmrm."

Jethro again asks, "What?" Billy Bob spits into his hand and says, "You gotta keep the worms warm!"

A blond called her boy friend and said, “Please come over here and help me. I have a killer jigsaw puzzle, and can’t figure it out or how to get it started.”
Her boyfriend asked, “What is it supposed to be when it’s finished?”
The blond said, “According to the picture on the box, its a tiger.”
Her boyfriend decided to go over and help with the puzzle. She let him in and showed him where she had the puzzle spread all over the table.
He studied the pieces for a moment, then looked at the box, then turned to her and said, “First of all, no matter what we do, were not going to be able to assemble these pieces into anything resembling a tiger.
He took her hand and said, “Second,I want you to relax. Lets have a nice cup of hot chocolate and then…” He sighed…
“Let’s put all these Frosted Flakes back in the box.”

It's time to call the little ones on over so that you can watch together a Walt Disney Silly Symphony cartoon from 1936:

Three Blind Mouseketeers

I hope you both enjoyed it.  I know that my youngest loved watching it with me.

REVIEW: Nature's Sleep Memory Foam Slippers

Nature's Sleep, the company that brings us Memory Foam Mattresses and Pillows is coming out with a new product line--Memory Foam Slippers.

Like their mattresses and pillows that give you the natural balance for your body and mind to revitalize and rejuvenate, Nature's Sleep Memory Foam Slippers will add so much cradling comfort to your feet.  These slippers swaddle your feet in such comfy coziness due to the fact that you are walking on memory foam.  After a long day on my feet, I slip these on and my feet just relax in the opulent pleasure that they provide.

The Nature's Sleep Slippers come in two styles, open and closed toe.  The open toe slippers come in three colors: Lavender, Pale Blue, and Mocha Brown.  The closed toe slippers come only in Blue and Pink.  They come in four unisex sizes--small 5/6; Medium 7/8; Large 9/10; and XLarge 11/12 (so for a woman, you would choose a size smaller).

I was sent the blue closed toe slippers to do a review on.  These plush slippers feel so sumptuous on my feet.  My feet do have a tendency to get a bit cold, but after putting these slippers on, my feet get snug and warm. I love my Nature's Sleep Memory Foam Slippers, they rejuvenate and calm my feet in their lavish softness.

Remember, Nature's Sleep also offers quality memory foam mattress/sleep sets online as well as pillows.  Nature's Sleep cares for us.  They search the globe to find the finest premium materials for their products.  They are concerned for our health, hygiene, and comfort.  They are an environmentally sensitive company that does their part for the protection and conservation of global resources.

Wordless Wednesday - Baby Elephant Seals with Linky #WW

Elephant Seal Pups having some fun!

A while back ago I met the woman who blogs about the Piedras Blancas colony of Elephant Seals on the California coast north of San Simeon.  I have been following her blog ever since.  Recently she uploaded a few videos on the elephant seals pups' activity.  The elephants seal pups are called 'weaners,' due to the fact that have just been weaned by there mothers.

I thought I would share these videos with you for my Wordless Wednesday post.  If you like, go on over to her site, ElSealNotes, and check it out.  It is filled with so much information on the elephant seals.

I have plenty of male artist that I love, mostly the old stuff, but so classy and classic.  For my fave guys today, I decided to post a few of my favorite male composers.

For today--
Frank Mills playing The Happy Song
Frank Mills in more known for his Music Box Dancer hit of the 70's.  Music Box Dancer was Mills' only U.S. Top 40 pop hit; the follow-up, another piano instrumental titled "Peter Piper", peaked at #48 on the Billboard Hot 100 although it was a popular Top 10 hit on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart. Mills managed one final Adult Contemporary chart entry, "Happy Song", which peaked at #41 at the beginning of 1981.

Another favorite male artist of mine is John Williams.  John Williams is the composer for so many of our contemporary movies--Star Wars, Jaws, Superman, Harry Potter, Home Alone, to name a few.  Did you also know that he composed the music to Gilligan's Island and Lost in Space?

Theme Song to Indiana Jones

Don't forget to link up your music post at Jade Louis Designs, too!

Gotta love Garfield.
