Theatrical Thursday - New Brave Trailer

New trailer released for Brave.  Brave is opening in Theaters on June 22.

I was a little disappointed with this trailer after seeing the part with the old man mooning his backside to others by lifting up his kilt. I really don't care for this type of crude humor, especially in a children's movie.  Disney will not be getting our money with this movie.  I know many of you see nothing wrong in this, but a little here and a little there starts degrading our culture.

  1. I personally think we have more to worry for the children of our nation to worry about than a little crude humour, but I understand where you're coming from. I'll be going with my girlfriends to see it, but only because we've seen every Disney Princess movie together since we were kids, lol.

  3. It does look like a good film, its amazing how a few seconds of film can alter the films success, im sure a few parents may be put off by this.

  8. I'm glad you mentioned that Danielle as I don't approve either. I punished my son once for doing that from our front porch towards the highway. Even though our lane was 1/2 mile away from the highway it was the thought that counted with me that he felt that was appropriate behavior. I hardly think it would be right for me to take the grand kids to the movie and say that was funny or okay to moon people.

  9. My kids have seen the trailers and cannot wait to see it. A little mooning isn't something to prevent us from going.

  11. I'm excited to see this movie. Almost any children's movie has some crude humor- I think because kids love it. Kids are weird. I think it's great that it features a strong female character!

  14. Stopping by from the Bloggin Social Facebook Group. And so glad I did. Thank you for the heads up. My children will NOT being watching this movie. I completely agree with you. I feel there has been way too much crude humor creeping its way into children's movies that are rated G. Why do they have to ruin good movies with such things. Of course children think it is okay if they see it in movies and parents don't find anything wrong with it. What will parents think if their children get in trouble for mooning someone at school. Will it be funny then? Just saying.

  16. I don't mind crude humor at all for myself, but I'm not sure how I would feel about it for my future children. I guess I'll cross that bridge when I get to it, year from now. Haa.
