Mouthman Hoodies are the brainchild of Ross Valory, Original Member and Founder of the rock band Journey.  He was visiting friends one day, and his friend's kids were running around the house with their arms crossed over their chests as if their arms were the mouths of monsters trying to chomp on each other.  He thought is was cute at the time, but nothing resulted from it until one day about 20 years later that memory popped into his head.

Ross called his friend, another founding member of Journey, Prairie Prince (a great graphic artist), and Mouth Man was brought into being. 

I love the Mouth Man concept!  The idea of having fun with a shirt is terrific.  My son, who was the one who the shirt went to, loves it.  He got an adult sized shirt.  All he has to do is pull the hoodie over his head, and he is a full-fledged terrifying Raptor! 

The Raptor is not the only design created by Ross and Prairie Prince.  There are dozens more.  You can choose from the terrifying T-Rex, Shark, Cobra, Orca Whale, Dragon, Skeleton or Bear.  You can also choose cute shirts, too, like a Sock Monkey, Triceratops, Lady Bug, Frog, and even a sweet XOXO Heart Hoodie that could give someone a big kiss! There is a line of shirts that commemorate The Simpsons 20th Anniversary.  They also have a hoodie shirts that honor FireDepartment.org with $2.00 from every sale goes to the San Ramon Valley Fire Community Fund charity.

What I also like is that the fabric comes from recycled plastic bottles.  This fabric is moisture wicking to keep you cool in the hot summer sun, and is great for layering to keep you warmer in winter.  The fabric is also UPF 50 to keep your skin protected from the harmful rays of the sun.  It could be used as a great swimsuit cover-up!
