Wordless Wednesday for June 6, 2012 with Linky

We have had hardly any wildflowers this year, but our pencil cactus did bloom.
The pencil cactus, (I don't know if this is its correct name, but it is the only name that we have known it by), is a favorite of the cactus wrens who build their nests within its thorny branches.

Do you have a family friendly blog? Please comment, and leave a link to your blog. I would love to come on over to visit.
