A great giveaway brought to you by Milk Unleashed.
We love shelf stable milk. If there is one thing we love in our home, it's milk! My fifth son just started college the other week, and we find it is much more economical to buy him shelf stable milk to take with him, than to let him buy milk at the college. We do try to keep quite a bit on hand for emergency purposes, also. I live in Southern California, and that is earthquake country.
In 1992, we had a 7.3 magnitude earthquake that literally threw us out of bed in the early morning. We were home bound for a few days, and we ran out of milk. I learned my lesson then. For a while, I bought a whey based beverage, and kept that on the shelf. Unfortunately, the company we got it from went out of business. When I first started seeing shelf stable milk, I started to buy it, and keep a stock of it on the shelves just for emergencies. Now that my son has started college, we can rotate the shelf stable stock with greater ease.
