I am not ashamed to say that I don't drink coffee. I do have coffee on my pantry shelf, but that is only for visitors. I love TEA! Mostly, I prefer black tea, hot, white (with milk), and a little sweet. That is my perfect addition to breakfast, and maybe another in the afternoon.
I was recently sent a new tea to try: Paisley Tea Co., an English Tradition by Tea Leaves and a Bud Tea Company. I was lucky to try three of their wonderful tea line: Organic English Breakfast; Organic Double Earl Grey; and Organic Green Ginger. I will tell you that I love trying new tea brands. I have found that some have left me flat, but Paisley Tea put me in seventh heaven. I love the rich bold flavors that erupted from them. Paisley Tea's are packed as traditional English-style paper teabags (that means no tags) with tea that's Organic and Fair Trade certified.
The Organic English Breakfast tea livened up my morning. It has a nice hearty flavor that went well with my breakfast. This tea is made with a special blend of Indian and African teas. I love my morning tea with a splash of half-n-half and a tad of sugar added. The Organic English Breakfast tea really revs up my morning, and helps me get through the day. Paisley Tea also has an Organic Decaf English Breakfast tea for those who don't want the caffeine.
The Organic Double Earl Grey is my choice of tea in the afternoon. It is perfect for that traditional 4 O'clock afternoon tea time. I love the added bergamot oil that gives the Organic Double Earl Grey tea its distinctive flavor. What is bergamot oil? It is the oil from a citrus fruit grown in Bergamo, Italy. Paisley Tea gives their Organic Double Earl Grey a bigger flavor boost with it doubling of this citrus-y zip to every cup that you make. This tea makes my afternoon feel much more special.
The Organic Green Ginger tea I found especially helpful this last month. I usually don't drink too much green tea, but this tea is special--it has ginger added. I love the health benefits of ginger. This tea is soothing and relaxing. After this last month of the flu that went into acute bronchitis, this tea really calmed me down, and soothed my stomach. It's rich flavor just gave my senses a boost while I was down and out. This tea will also be my choice of tea the next time my husband makes two days worth of his egg rolls!
Would you like to get some of this delicious tea for yourself? Perhaps you think that because this tea is a Fair Trade Organic tea that it just might be a little beyond your pocketbook? Think again, because Paisley Tea is very affordable! Each box of Paisley Tea is only $5.95. That is a great deal for such rich bold tea. You can also keep connected with Paisley Tea through Facebook and Twitter. Keep up with news on tea through Two Leaves and a Bud Blog.
