2012 #Holiday Gift Guide – EcoVessel Scout Kid’s Straw Top Bottle – Review & Giveaway – Ends 11/20 US

I love EcoVessel’s products so much, that I wanted to bring to you another great bottle from their product line.  This time one just for the kids: The EcoVessel “Scout” Straw Top Bottle.

The EcoVessel “Scout” is one of their toughest bottles that they sell.  It is made of a more heavy duty single wall stainless steel that their adult bottles, and with a stronger paint.  This durable 13 ounce bottle is made to be roughed up.  It can take all the drops and falls that a youngster can put it through, but still keep its great looks.

I love all the child pleasing color/styles that the “Scout” comes in: blue with a fly; white with an owl; black with a pirate; pink with a tree; orange with a grasshopper; and a silver express style with no paint.  We had to have a family conference on which style we were going to review; I just couldn’t decide on my own.  The Whit with the Owl won out, and we are so happy with it.  It is just so sweet a design!

Another great feature to the “Scout” bottle is the straw top.  Although it is made just like all other EcoVessel’s adult straw tops, the “Scout” has a tightly bonded, non-removable TPR (thermoplastic rubber) that is still just as eco-friendly as the adult version.  This TPR is strong to take the biting and chewing that children are prone to do, and is strong to resist tearing under normal circumstances, but chewing the top should be discouraged.  The bottle also came with an extra straw!  I was happy to see that knowing that it would have to be replaces sometime in the future.

The EcoVessel “Scout” would be a perfect gift for someone, but would be an excellent stocking stuffer this Christmas!  As a matter of fact, any of EcoVessel’s bottles would be perfect for holiday gift giving, and I would still recommend the triple insulated EcoVessel “Boulder” that I reviewed not too long ago.  It is still, by far, a favorite in the house!
