Kids Gift Set from Uncommon Goods - #HGG Review & Giveaway - Ends 12/16 US

While looking around for  gifts for the kids for Christmas, I always keep a wary eye out for something that just can not be found in a common large chain store.  Actually, I am a very uncommon person, and I always have been.  Every year I have challenged myself to find interesting and unique items to give to the kids for Christmas.  There is one website that is on my list, and that is Uncommon Goods.

At Uncommon Goods, there is a bountiful supply of gifts for kids that I am not going to find elsewhere, especially at my local "super" discount store downtown.  I am finding so many great items to buy for the kids at Uncommon Goods, especially stocking stuffers that can't be found anywhere else.

To help start me out with my Christmas shopping, Uncommon Goods sent me the Kid's Gift Set to review.  It's the perfect gift set for the kids.  Shh...while it is still a secret to them what this is, I will share it with you.

This wonderful gift set includes the Portable Ping Pong Set, a Tube Tots, and a Stencil and Pen Kit.  The old kids are going to get a kick out of the Portable Ping Pong Set.  It sets up in seconds on your kitchen or dining room table.   Have you always wanted to play ping pong or haven't in a long time--like me--and wanted to?  This is perfect for us.  The Portable Ping Pong Set can be taken anywhere.  It sets up in seconds ready for play.  The hubby and I had so much fun trying it out.  A portable, retractable net, adjustable paddles and two ping-pong balls comes in a drawstring pouch for easy travel and storage.  The net expands up to six feet.  The Portable Ping Pong Set sells for $39.95.  That is an excellent deal for us that can't have a real ping pong table.   I can just envision Christmas morning and see the kids monopolizing the kitchen table after Christmas breakfast to play this.

Another item that was a part of this set is a Tube Toy.  Great for children over 3, the Tube Toy is a push-along vehicles that is made from recyclable paper.  Kids will have fun assembling these fun cars, putting on the wheels and the stickers to make it just theirs.  These come in three different earth-friendly vehicles: Firetruck, Tractor, and Train. We got the firetruck, and it is a fabulous little toy.  Each Tube Toy sells for only $15.  This will be going in my youngest son's stocking, and he is going to enjoy it.  It would be a perfect stocking stuffer for your child, too!

The other toy that I received is the Stencil and Pen Kit.  What fun the kids are going to have with this!  There are two Stencil and Pen Kits--Face Box (which we got) and the Zoo Box.   Here is what each box contains:

Face Box includes:
- 2 stencils of head shapes, noses, eyes and mouths
- 1 stencil of hats, hairstyles and facial hair
- 3 fine-point felt-tip pens

Zoo Box includes:
- 2 stencils of head shapes, features, whiskers and snouts
- 1 stencil of ears, antlers and horns
- 3 fine-point felt-tip pens

I already know that there really is no age limit to this toy, but does contain small parts so it would not be a good toy for a child under 3.  Each one of these Stencil and Pen Kits cost $10.  Each and everyone of us are going to have fun making weird faces.

Uncommon Goods is just bursting with all types of gifts for the kids, here, and adults. here, for Christmas.  Sections are set aside for the girls--here, and for the boys--here, from babies to teens.  Each and every items is an item that you find at Uncommon Goods is quite unique.  This is one place that is on my shopping list to find some neat gifts and stocking stuffers!
