Petit Jean Meats - Sensational Christmas Breakfast! - #HGG Review & Giveaway - ends 12/16 US

While I was putting together my Holiday Gift Guide, my mind went to the food aspect of Christmas.  What would be good for Christmas breakfast?  Why ham and bacon, of course!  While looking for some quality breakfast meats, I found Petit Jean Meats.

Petit Jean Meats is a company that has been family operated and has been since 1926 in Morrilton, Arkansas.  For over 80 years they have been serving up quality meat products made from quality ingredients.  All of their bacon and hams are still smoked with real burning hickory for at least 16 hours, and not some smoke flavoring that comes out of a bottle.

That real hickory flavor runs true and deep in their products.  I was fortunate to review their Deluxe Gift Box which retails for on $50 and consists of their delicious, hand-prepared EZ Carve Hickory Smoked Ham (3.5 pounds), Arkansas Style smoked Sausage (14 oz), Hickory Smoked Bacon (1 lb), and Summer Sausage (8 oz).  We enjoyed these over this last Thanksgiving weekend.

Our breakfast with Petit Jean Meats was the most fabulous we have had in  a long time.   The EZ Carve Hickory Smoked Ham was a succulent, and the Hickory Smoked Bacon was superb.  The Ham was so easy to carve, just as promised, with a great flavor.  I have not tasted flavor from ham and bacon like this in years.  While the bacon was cooking, it smelled like we were cooking the bacon over an open fire outside.  The aroma was so mouthwatering.

Looked, Smelled, & Tasted Fabulous!

For our lunch we enjoyed the Arkansas Style Smoked Sausage and the Summer Sausage with crackers and cheese.  The Arkansas Style Smoked Sausage is made from a recipe that is three-quarters of a century old.  Four different types of pepper are used to give this it's "Arkansas" flavor.  The Summer Sausage is a blend of pork, beef, and special seasonings--it is perfect with crackers and cheese!  They livened up our lunch, and made it so much more memorable.  As my husband said, the flavor of the meats are smooth with no harsh after flavor as we get with the other nationwide meat companies that you see setting up little shops in the malls.

Petit Jean Meats made our Thanksgiving breakfast and lunch a unforgettable event.  Our eldest daughter is leaving to live back East, and this was the last holiday that we would get to spend with her as she follows her life quest.  These extraordinary meats that made these last Thanksgiving meals so special will live in our hearts and minds always.

Now that Thanksgiving is over, let's look ahead to Christmas!  I highly recommend Petit Jean Meats as the place to shop for your meats this holiday season.  Hams galore, smoked sausages, turkeys, BACON!  All of Petit Jean Meats are affordably priced.  Having problems deciding--try a sampler pack.

Wonderful Gift Idea!

Petit Jean Meats Sampler Packs and Gift Boxes are the perfect gift for the meat lover of the family!
