Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil - Review, Recipe, & Giveaway - Ends 12/23

If you have not yet tried Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil, then you are definitely missing out.  It's great for baking with.  We love having Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil in the house.  It makes our homemade bread soft and aromatic.

My husband made these delicious sweet pastries with Tropical Traditions Virgin Coconut Oil the day after we received our 32 oz jar to review.  He was lucky just to take a few pictures of these pastries for they went so fast.

Another way I love to use the Tropical Traditions Virgin Coconut Oil is when I make home popped popcorn.  For years I just grabbed a bag out of the cupboard and threw it in the microwave to pop.  I had forgotten how good real popped popcorn in a pot can taste.  Making it with Tropical Traditions Virgin Coconut Oil gives popcorn a wonderful South Seas flavor.

Traditional Popped Popcorn on the Stove

3 Tbsp Tropical Traditions Virgin Coconut Oil
1/2 Cup of Popcorn Kernels
Salt to taste

Add the 3 Tbsp of Tropical Traditions Virgin Coconut Oil and popcorn kernels to pan.  Cover and heat.  Leave pan lid slightly ajar to allow the steam to escape.  (Be careful, the steam is hot!)  When popping slows, remove pan from heat.  Add your salt to taste, and enjoy!

You can top the popcorn with 2-3 Tbsp of melted butter, if you wish, but I love the flavor that Tropical Traditions Virgin Coconut Oil creates.

This is our popcorn recipe of choice when sitting at home and watching a good classic movie!
