It was windy, cold, and it was just starting to rain, and I needed something at the mall. With only two of my children with me, the baby and a two-year-old, we hurried out of the car into the mall. ReplyDeleteI traveled almost 45 minutes to a doctor appt. with three kids early one morning and locked my keys in my truck. I had to pay over 60 dollars just to have someone come out and unlock for me after I sat there in the office for almost 2 hours with three restless kids! I was late for work, the kids didn't get to school that day and I was just so angry. If I had this maybe I'd get in the habit of attaching them to my purse when I take out of the ignition.

I always think that I have locked my keys in the car because can never find them in the bottom of my huge bag with everything in it. This would put them front and center and easy to see and find and put away!

ReplyDeleteI wasn't in a difficult situation, but my daughter was. She and a friend drove to a city 2 hours away. Parked at the shopping mall....enjoyed the day roaming and shopping. Got back to the car only to see the keys dangling from the ignition. Of course, these are smart, safety conscious girls so they locked the car doors when they got out. My daughter called home in a panic, not sure what to do. Being so far away from her, we weren't able to help much beyond giving her advice on who to call and how to get help, oh and putting money into her account so she could pay for it! It doesn't matter how clean my purse is, for some reason they always maneuver themselves to be hiding under something in there and it takes FOREVER for me to dig them out!
ReplyDeleteI had a key chain that I thought I clasp my keys to the side of my purse once in the grocery store which is HUGE and once I checked out and was was ready to go to the car I looked for my keys and they weren't there, I LOST them in the store!! The clasp must of not closed all the way and fell off! It took 3 hours to search the store and find my keys, it was horrible!

ReplyDeleteI dropped my keys somewhere out in front of my house. Someone picked them up, and was taking my car out joyriding in the middle of the night while i was sleeping. My gas would always be gone, or there would be more in there than i had when i parked it. My car hasn't been taken in the middle of the night recently...but my keys are still gone.
