Definitely not a partridge, but cute. I have always been fascinated by praying mantises, though I really can't stand bugs.
I HATE BUGS! Especially those they look like they're aliens! ~snicker~
What a great shot! We see a lot of those around her during spring/summer time =)
Did you know they are related to the cockroach? I researched them when my parents had tons of them outside their front door in a bush. We watched it capture and eat a bumble bee.

I think they are so cool looking. My friend brought home her Christmas tree last year and found out that it had a nest of them in it. Took her forever to round them up and get them out of the house!
