Wordless Wednesday with Linky - Lady Banks Rose - May 8, 2013

I have been meaning to post these pictures for a few weeks now, but other pictures just took precedence over these.  I have two Lady Banks Roses on each side of our gate coming in to our home.  This year they offered such a showy display, that even the off-roaders (who just rip up our dirt roads and usually couldn't care less) would slow down and take a look.

    1. No thorns is one very nice thing about this rose. They are an excellent climber, too. Too bad they only bloom in the spring.

    1. Marie, We are loaded with bees! They are simply everywhere around the house. Since we are the only ones in the area with a well and trees we water daily, the bees just flock to our house. We got a swimming pool last year, and we couldn't even go out in it because of the bees! Our evaporative coolers always get bees swarming them every summer, too. Gotta be on the watch for bees that make it through them.

      Have a great one!

  19. All the yellow blooms are quite striking.
The post I linked on your linky is completely family friendly except for one word. The rest of the blog cusses a lot. I figured I'd let you know in advance. Didn't mean to be offensive in any way. Best to you!
