Create a Fairy Atmosphere Around your Home with RTGS Micro LED Lights - Review & Giveaway - ends 8/22 US

My thanks to for giving me two Micro LED Light Sets in exchange for my honest opinion.

Are you a family like mine that loves to celebrate birthdays and holidays around the year with lights decorating your home.  That's the way we are.  For every birthday and major holiday, we string up lights and decorations in our country kitchen to living room to celebrate.  We mostly use the mini "Christmas" type of lights or a set of rope lights, now, thanks to, we have Super Bright Micro LED Lights that are perfect to put most anywhere.  They are like bright little fairy lights!

Much more compact that ordinary mini lights!
I was sent to review two strings of Micro LED Lights to review, a string of 100 Cold White LIghts and a battery-operated set of red 20 Lights.  Both of these LED light sets are strung on Ultra Thin Silver Wire that can go anywhere.  When I say anywhere, I mean it!  The ultra thin wire makes these lights easy to put anywhere - up in a tree or on a bush, inside and outside the home, and even underwater!  (The power supply needs to be kept dry and protected.)

The 100 Cold White LED Lights are strung on a 30' super thin silver wire.  The lights are spaced 4" apart on the easily bendable wire.  Between the lights and the clear transformer is 6' of clear soft flexible cable that gets the lights where you want them and not near the plug.  Although the LED lights are smaller than a grain of wheat, they are super bright and can be seen from all angles.  Because of the super thin wiring, these lights are very light weight and can be put up with just scotch tape to hold them.

These lights are the perfect length for our dining area.  When the hubby and I have a special dinner for just the two of us, we turn off the main light, and just have these sweet fairy lights to create a romantic feel.  Combined with the candles on the table, we felt as if we were out in an expensive restaurant.  These are definitely going up for Thanksgiving and Christmas! Oh, how I wish I had these lights when we went back to our daughter's wedding.  They would have made the reception area much more fun.

I love the battery-operated red LED lights.  There are some places in our home where the electrical plug is just too far away from where I want to put some lights or where I don't want a cord to show like around the Christmas wreath, with the lights being water-proof, in a floral arrangement, anywhere you want some little fairy lights.  The 20 LED lights are strung on a 7' ultra thin wire that uses three AA batteries that will last a full 48 hours of continuous use.  I only turn these on for a few hours in the evening, so the batteries should last over 16 days for me.

LED lights are super energy efficient.  I have heard nothing but positive information about LED lights.  I have never been a fan of compact fluorescent lights (CFLs) especially since I hear news about how one should not break them.  LED lights have no filaments and no mercury.  They light up by a flow of electrons in a semiconductor material.  The LEDs are about 300% more efficient than CFLs and 1000% more than incandescent bulbs.  I can just see the savings on our electric bill right now.

These lights are easy to store because they are just a fraction of the size of "mini" lights.  A package of the 100 LED lights is only 4"X2"X2".  I don't think 100 "mini" lights could fit in that size of a package!  Just think of the storage room these lights could save.

Would you like to get a set of these lights?  All of RTGS Products can be easily purchased at  The Micro LED 100 Cold White Color Lights on 30 Ft Long Silver Ultra Thin String Wire are only $18.95 and qualify for FREE Super Saver Shipping.

Wordless Wednesday with Linky - Utah Part 1 - July 31, 2013

I have been going through the photos of our road trip back to our daughter's wedding.  Here are some pictures of Utah off of Interstate 15 through the southern part of Utah.  Utah is a speeder's paradise.  The speed limit on Interstate 15 is 80 mph!  Beware, if you feel that you want to go faster than that, the highway patrol cars that we noticed were unmarked Ford Mustangs!

I loved seeing the roads stretching out before us.  The thrill of a trip exhilarates me.  It was nice to see one of these signs, too, after so many miles of not having a rest stop!

I will be sharing more pictures from our trip every week.  Next week will be more pictures of northern Utah off of Interstate 70.

Marvelous Music Monday 4Ms - It's Summertime! - July 29, 2013

How many of you would love to have a sweet summertime?

It seems like it is getting back to normal weather patterns here in our desert where we have low humidity, and our water coolers work just superb to cool our home nicely.  We were getting a bit tired of over 50% humidity with 100+ degrees.

Our summertime fun in New Jersey was launched when we visited Island Beach State Park that is located on a barrier island.

The city of Seaside Park right before the park.

It was a great beach!

The surf was much more tame than it is here on a California beach.  It was very nice for having fun in the water, and was fun watching people trying to catch one of these puny waves to surf on.
We even met new friends!

After about four hours of fun, we got chased off by a thunderstorm.  It poured so hard that we couldn't see through the windshield.

Lucky for us, our rental car came with satellite radio.  It made the trip so much more pleasant.  While listening in on 50s hits, we heard this song.

Summertime Summertime
The Jamies

Join in on the fun!

XmasDolly, is the Conductor on this Musical trip.  Co-conductors Callie of JAmerican Spice, Stacy of Stacy Uncorked, Cathy of Cathy Kennedy’s Blog and our Honorary Co-Conductor for the month of July has been held over due to lack of volunteering is Naila Moon of Just the Stuff You Know.

Because of circumstances beyond my control, I was not able to get back to everyone from last week's post.  Sorry about that, and I will try to get around to everyone this week.

Oh, here is a little friend that we found on Saturday.  He's a heavenly creature now.
