#MyBlogSpark Old El Paso Twist on Tacos - Review and Giveaway - ends 9/14 US

I received an El Paso Gift Pack for free from My Blog Spark to facilitate with this review of Old El Paso Taco products.

We are a taco loving family!  We have soft tacos once a month in our home.  We love fresh soft flour tortillas, putting on our mixture of taco meat, with some refried beans, lettuce, cheese, sour cream, and when we have it, diced tomatoes, olives, and/or avocado.  We are one happy family on taco night.

When I had the chance to review this great taco kit from My Blog Spark showcasing Old El Paso products, I knew it would be a hit in our home.  We are no strangers to Old El Paso Refried Beans which we buy regularly, and are a family favorite.   I also know of the Old El Paso Taco Seasoning package, but Old El Paso Flour Tortillas were new to me.  Preparing our meal couldn't have been easier with Joseph Joseph extras that were sent along to help make dinner a complete success.

The Joseph Joseph Rinse and Chop Plus, a cutting board with an integrated colander, made preparing the lettuce a breeze.  All I had to do was chop the lettuce up on the board and snap the board folded, and then take it to the sink to completely rinse the lettuce off.  I have used this on a number of other occasions.  It is particularly good for chopping and draining carrots and potatoes.  Just love having this around.

To shred the cheese, I used the Joseph Joseph fold flat grater. It worked wonderfully.  To store the cheese and the olives, I used the included Joseph Joseph Prep and Store Food Preparation Bowl Set.  This bowl set worked out great!  Once we were done with dinner, all I had to do was screw the tops on the bowls and pop them into the refrigerator. These bowls nest together to use less room to store them.

Our taco dinner was set to perfection, and came out great!  We usually make our taco meat with seasoning we add from scratch, so having the Old El Paso Taco Seasonings packet was quite different.  It's gave the taco meat a restaurant taste.  The Old El Paso tortillas were divine!  The texture and taste is unlike any other tortilla we have had, and we love them.  Only one thing, they are small like a corn tortilla.  As I have stated before, the Old El Paso refried beans are a family favorite, and made the tacos perfect!
