Wordless Wednesday with Linky - Looking For a Few Good Men - Any Applicants? - October 30, 2013

I had my husband wait until last night to go out and get rid of these ladies that were nesting around our house so that I would have a Wordless Wednesday post that would give many of you the creeps!

These gals are always looking for new husband.  Any applicants?

I left these pictures extra large, so feel free to click on them so you can see them bigger.

    1. They sure are! There are three all together here. The middle two pics are of the same spider. The last one was the biggest. Go ahead and show them to the kids. We also found a male black widow, but I couldn't get a good picture of him. The males are very small and diminutive.

  5. Oh yeah, you couldn't pay me enough money to get within 50 feet of one of those! When I lived in New Mexico, a huge nest of them existed underneath the stairs that led to the upper apartments and every time I walked by I would feel super creeped out!

  9. My hubby has a fear of spiders. After 20 years and far too many near death experiences as a result of his fear, I know have a fear of being near him when there is a spider. lol

    1. The hubby took the pictures while I stood back with the flashlight. I really think he got too close to them. He has been bitten before by one, but that was 25 years ago.

My girls are scared of little spiders we have around here. I want nothing to do with them. Eek.

    1. We'll get them all, and they will all return next year. At least we don't get them as bad as some people who live in Palm Springs. The Black Widows are everywhere down there.
