Wordless Wednesday with Linky - Happy Birthday to the United States Marine Corps! - October 13, 2013

Did you know that Sunday, the United States Marine Corps celebrated its 238th birthday?  As someone who lives next to the Twenty-nine Palms Marine Base, that is something quite special.  We love seeing all the helicopters and planes flying over.  Here are just a few times that we were able to capture a few pictures.  Unfortunately, I don't know one helicopter or plane from another.

It is never a bother hearing them fly over during the day.  Hardly ever do we hear them at night.  What is really neat are the bombs that will shake the windows!

    1. We didn't hear the bombs tonight, but we did walk out after dark for a bit. We got to see the flash of light coming from the bombs. It was a neat sight.
