It's time that the tarantula migration.  Did you know that they do migrate?  Every year we get a few that pass on by.

  3. Honestly that is something I would have loved to see as a child. Even now. I read a quote the other day, not sure who it is by, that said "sometimes the most beautiful things are found in things you would normally not find beautiful."

    1. The desert is really a beautiful place - especially in winter when the sun doesn't fall upon you like you are being roasted in an open oven. But I truly miss greenery.

  14. Yes, as long as they don't stop for a visit and keep on going - that's fine! They are creepy. Remember that Brady Bunch episode with one of those crawling up Peter!? lol (I am showing my true age with that obscure reference!)

  18. ewwwwwwwwwwwww You really need to for warn me when you're going to have these spider pics on your Post. I hate spiders and now they'll be on my mind all day & I'll be jumpy not to mention nightmares. The last time you had pics I was even checking my bed, and dusted, polished, and vacuumed the whole house. I hate the little buggers! ewwwwww

    1. LIttle? The fellow wasn't very little! He was about 4 inches all the way across before he stretched out his legs. We enjoy seeing them when we can, but I think I would freak out if any ever got in the house (like the time we had a snake in the house!).
