Here is a fun way to help your child's aches and pains this springs with a darling Lamb Hot Water Bottle from WarmTradition.com. I love using a hot water bottle instead of the old plug in heating pads, or trying to put together an ice pack. Besides saving electricity, these hot water bottles are fun and cute to have around.
These hot water bottles are not the same as what grandma used to use. These are fanciful thermoplastic hot water bottles which most come with a fun covering. This darling cover takes the place of the towel that grandma covered her old rubber hot water bottle with. WarmTradition.com has a large assortment of hot water bottles which have such sweet USA made covers that entice children to use them. Children ill or upset are more likely to cuddle up to a cute character that will provide a calm secure feeling - Works for grown ups too!
Why are these hot water bottles better than the ones that grandma used to use? These bottles are not made of that old ugly smelly rubbery material, but of thermoplastic. This German engineered thermoplastic was designed to hold the heat in for an extra long time - unlike other hot water bottles. Thermoplastic is safe, odorless, recyclable and BPA and phtalate free.
This Lamb Hot Water Bottle is the second hot water bottler that we have received from WarmTradition.com. This soft fleecy lamb covers a 1L thermoplastic hot water bottle. It's the perfect size for a child or teen. Because of it's small size, it delivers the heat just in small patch that you want it. Perfect for menstrual cramps as it doesn't heat a large area, just the area where it would hurt.
As I hear that it is still cold in some places, use a hot water bottle as a bed warmer, warm some cold feet that have been sloshing around in the rain or snow, or just cuddly up to one as you watch TV.
As an cold pack! We have a cold in the house right now, and my youngest had a fever and a headache yesterday from it. He had grabbed himself a makeshift ice pack, but the ice kept falling out. I filled our new lamb hot water bottle with ice water and gave it to him. It was great for a cold headache soother - just the right size, and no mess!
Warm Tradition Fleece Pink Heart hot water bottle, filled it with hot tap water, sat and watched a movie. By the end of the movie, my back ache was soothed, and I could go on with what I had to do (bake some bread). The bottle was still warm after the two hour movie was over, too!
Another benefit? Hot water bottles are Eco-friendly! Unplug from the power grid, and get the benefits of heat by using a Warm Tradition Hot Water Bottle, and save money at the same time!
I love my lamb hot water bottle from Warm Tradition. Not only is it good for aches and pains, but it looks great with the rest of my Easter decor! You can get this little lamb for under $20, and it adds a little warm fun to spring!

Have you ever wanted a locket that you can just personalize and make your own? I am big in personalization because it becomes a unique item tailored specifically with you in mind. This is where Origami Owl Custom Jewelry comes into play.
I was recently asked to do a review for Origami Owl from Independent representative, Kristal Groetzinger. She kindly put together a silver locket and ball chain that I could give to my eldest daughter when she came to visit. It was her birthday, and since she is getting married in July, I got the "love" plate with two charms: a heart March birthstone for my daughter, and a round December birthstone for her fiance.
Needless to say, my daughter loves it. She is so proud wearing this for three reasons, because it is so pretty, she realizes that I have put my blessing upon their marriage, and that she can add charms to her Origami Owl locket. She wants to add baby charms for each blessed event that will come in the future. My sincere thanks to Kristal for letting me give her the "starter" Origami Owl locket that will become for my daughter a personalize piece of history for her.
Above is what the locket that I had made for my daughter consisted of: the medium silver locket, which is 25mm in diameter, and is actually made of solid jewelry-grade stainless steel, which is completely hypoallergenic and will not rust or tarnish - price $20; the eighteen inch 925 Silver Ball Station Chain - price $8; the silver hand-stamped "love" plate - price $8; the March Heart Birthstone Charm - price $5; and the December Round Birthstone Charm - price $5. All-in-all this expandable locket, which can hold 4 to 7 charms cost with t/s is $56.92.
It's easy to create a locket at Origami Owl that will be perfect just for you. Just head on over to www.kristal.origamiowl.com, and get started.
Why not create an Origami Owl Locket for mom or grandmother on Mother's day. What fine gift it would make, and any mom would happily accept it with so much gratitude. I know I would (hint to my kids that are reading this!)
An Origami Owl Locket from Kristal is recommended for my list of Mother's Day gifts!

Clowning with Work
Here is what happens when you goof off too much at work
What happens when someone else goofs off at work
What happens when you work smarter, not harder
Seriously No Motivation to Work

It has been over four years ago that I had to have a hysterectomy due to the fact that I was hemorrhaging to death. I remember that hospital emergency room when I received six pints of blood, and the next day after being admitted, receiving two more. My surgery ended by taking my uterus, which was four times the size of normal, and one of my ovaries, which was the size of a softball due to a dermoid tumor. My hormones still have not quite equalized.
My first symptom of hormonal imbalance and being perimenopausal was night sweats, weight gain, fatigue, mood swings, headaches... I guess I could have gone back to my doctor and went on hormone replacement therapy, but that is not the road I wanted to go down. I have heard of too many unwanted side effects with HRT, and my mother got a rare form of cancer from it. I did try black cohosh that was recommended to me by my local health food store. While it did help a little, it wasn't perfect. After a bottle of it, I stopped taking it. I still wanted something that would naturally alleviate my hormonal imbalance without the use of hormones. Yet, I have lived with this for years now, and thought that I would never find any relief.
Just recently, I was contacted by Amberen to do a review of their product. I had heard their advertisements over the radio, and was just starting to investigate Amberen on my own. I do have my daughter's wedding to attend this July, and I do so much want to shed some unwanted pounds. Amberen will help me begin my journey to hormonal balance, and help me lose weight by regulating my estrogen levels.
[Amberen] the only company in the world that has the technology to produce “smart molecules” of succinates and fumarates (key ingredients in Amberen) with specific shapes that are bio-identical to the human body. Which means our compounds are shaped for optimal performance. -Check out Amberen's Ingredients for yourself. Are you over 40, and may think you have some signs that menopause other than weight gain? Here are more signs:
Increased Heart Rate
The Tendency to Sweat More
Irritability and Moodiness
Crying More Often
Vaginal Dryness, Burning, and/or Itchiness
Amberen is clinically tested to relieve most symptoms of menopause without any side effect. I have found that I do experience mild to moderate symptoms of some of the above. My one little ovary can only do so much. My doctor told me that my body would regulate itself, and my one ovary will take over the job of two. Perhaps it has, but it is insufficient. About the only thing that has happened is that I don't suffer from night sweats anymore, but I can wake up feeling overheated. Amberen does work and has a satisfaction rate of 92.6%, and that sounds like relief to me.
Here is the package that I received from Amberen. As you can see, I have started my journey. Amberen has two little capsules that are taken daily. For only the first week, I am doubling the dosage. I am told that I will see results in around three weeks. I will keep you updated, and will be telling you more about Amberen in the weeks ahead. Oh, and there will be a giveaway for some of you to try Amberen for yourselves!
I am anxiously waiting to feel better and a bit slimmer in the three months that I will be taking Amberen: the Safe and Effective Solution for Symptoms of Menopause. Thank you, Amberen, for this opportunity!
