Mohawk Valley Trading Co. Happy Easter Review and Giveaway - ends 4/6 US

I received the following products for free from Mohawk Valley Trading Co. in return for an honest review.  No other forms of compensation was received.  All opinions are 100% my own.

Honey is one of my favorite things to eat.  It's great on my morning toast, mixed with peanut butter on a sandwich or rye crisp, and perfect for my tea.  It's so sweet and tasty with extra health benefits, too!

Mohawk Valley Trading Co.

I recently discovered Mohawk Valley Trading Co. They offer a variety of sweet honeys, maple syrup, and beeswax candles that all all natural with no additives, and have handmade soaps and natural skincare products.  I was very appreciative to Mohawk Valley Trading Co. to send me a few of their items to review for you.

As I have already stated, we are a honey loving family.  Honey is such a great 100% natural product made for us by bees.  It is full of antiseptic properties.  It is something that we always keep stocked in our cupboard.  Being in California, we try to have orange honey that comes local from what few orange groves that we have left in Southern California, but it is getting harder to find.   This Mohawk Valley Trading Co. raw honey is from the nectar of the Tulip Poplar and Black Locust tree blooms.  It is a mineral rich honey that is darker in appearance than orange honey.  The sweetness of the honey is perfect and has a tangier flavor than orange honey, and taste better in our tea.  It's also a wonderful companion on fresh bread, toast, fresh hot biscuits, corn bread, and with my all-favorite peanut butter.  It gets my mouth watering just writing about.  I am toasting a piece of our fresh made bread just to get more of this honey.

Each one pound jar of this delicious raw honey from Mohawk Valley Trading Co., which I consider a "bee confection," is only $10.

Honey bees are also the makes of beeswax.  Mohawk Valley Trading Co. forms their candles from the beeswax created by their own bees right here in the USA.  Beeswax is so much better to burn than the cheap candles we generally buy in the store that is made of paraffin.  Why?  Because beeswax can be smoke free, soot free, and drip free when burned correctly.  Because of my nasal allergies, I cannot take the strong artificial scents of the paraffin candles.  The Mohawk Valley Trading Co. beeswax candles have only the natural perfume of honey.  When burning, they burn so much more brighter, and they don't bother my allergies!  That's good because I love to light a candle every now and then.   The Beeswax Tapers are 10 inches, and cost only $10 a pair.

The beeswax candles come in different sizes and shapes from tapers to pillars to pine cones to decorative eggs.  The darling egg-shaped molded beeswax candle is so cute!  It is going to look perfect and burn brightly when Easter dinner is going to be served.  The egg-shaped beeswax candle costs $14 and is 3.75 inches tall.

Along with this Easter package, I received a sweet pink fleece blanket embroidered with "Happy Easter" and the Easter Bunny carrying a basket full of Easter eggs.  I have found out that it is a nice warm extra 50x60 inch blanket to swaddle in on a cold spring evening while sipping some herbal tea sweetened with the Tulip Poplar - Black Locust honey.   This embroidered fleece blanket would make a great decorative throw, a gift in someone's Easter basket or just for yourself to snuggle in.   It is 100% polyester blanket decorated with over 15,000 embroidery stitches and sells for only $30 from Mohawk Valley Trading Co.'s online sister store - Crooked Brook.

Mohawk Valley Trading Co. is an online exclusive store.

  9. I would really like the Raw Buckwheat Honey for its intrusive flavor and health benefits. Apparently it has to be raw in order to maintain the vitamins, amino acids, antioxidants and minerals. I love honey, the stronger the flavor the better. I consider it the nectar of the gods!
