Justin and the Knights of Valour Available on DVD & Blu-ray - Review and Giveaway - ends 8/20 US

I received a copy of Justin and the Knights of Valour on DVD from a PR company for this review.  All opinions about the movie are my own.  No other form of compensation was received.

In every age, every kingdom needs a hero.  But in a kingdom where heroes have been basically outlawed, only one young man steps up to challenge the law and become this kingdom's hero.

Available on DVD and Blu-ray

From Kandor Graphics and Antonio Banderas comes this wonderfully animated adventure for the whole family, with an outstanding cast of voice talent that includes Freddie Highmore, Rupert Everett, Alfred Molina, Saoirse Ronan, and Antonio Banderas.

Young Justin dreams of following in his grandfather Sir Roland’s footsteps and becoming one of the legendary Knights of Valor. Along his quest, he encounters a slew of quirky characters, including the beautiful Talia and handsome Sir Clorex, who try to teach Justin the skills he needs to become a mighty knight. Justin is put to the test when he is forced to face a power-hungry army of thugs, led by the mighty Sota, but soon learns that true strength comes from the heart.

What fun we had watching Justin and the Knights of Valour!  At the beginning we find that Justin lives in an age when knights have been outlawed by the queen under the influence of bureaucrats.  Justin's father, the biggest lawyer of the land, is the queen's chief counsel and the instigator of the law.  Yet Justin wants to follow not in his father's footsteps, but his grandfather's, and become a great knight.  With the aid of his grandmother, Justin sets off on a quest of finding his grandfather's sword and becoming one of the Knights of Valor instead of going to school to become what his father's dreams him to be, a lawyer.  The story of Justin and the friends meets along the way, brave Talia and a sorcerer with multiple personalities,  not to mention the dangerous enemies, to become a valiant knight is a tale our whole family enjoyed.

Justin and the Knights of Valor is a delightful film that the whole family can enjoy.  It has the seal of approval from The Dove Foundation, the source for family friendly movie reviews.  This movie is rated PG for mild action and some rude humor.
