The Current - Available On DVD October 6, 2014 - Family Christian Store Autograph Event - Theatrical Thursday - October 2, 2014

I will be receiving a copy of the DVD, The Current, and a gift card, for sharing this DVD and event.

Family movies are what we really love in our home, and it if has a Christian theme, the better we like it.  For those of you who like to watch a good Christian family film, I recommend that you watch The Current.

The Current sounds like a great movie for the whole family to sit down and watch together.  It's about a boy named Jake who finds that God has a different purpose for him than the life he would have liked to have had.
When thirteen year old Jake is uprooted from his life in Chicago when his parents decide that city life is getting too violent, he comes across a friendship that will change his life. They buy a campground in rural Minnesota to raise their children in a better environment. At the campground, a rebellious young Jake meets Peter the boy across the river. The two form a fast friendship that God uses to transform Jake's life in ways that Jake never could have imagined.

Available to own on October 6, 2014,  Directed by Nikita Zubarev, written by Scott A. Peterson, and starring B. Bradenton Harper, Blade Yocum, and Dariush Moslemi, The Current brings a message of hope and restoration.  Family approved for 12+ at Dove.org.

Available at your local Family Christian Store or buy The Current online for only $19.99.  You may order it early, but it will ship around October 6, 2014.

  2. I don't watch TV or movies very often. And I am single so doubt I would watch this one in any case. It does sound good for families to watch together.
