Enjoy HT Unique Tea Blends For the Holidays - Hbeoliday Gift Guide Review

If you have been a long time reader of my blog, you will know that I love a fine cup of tea.  In my humble opinion, I believe one of the best teas you can find is from Harney and Sons - Master Tea Blenders.

Harney and Sons unique blends of HT Teas are the highlight of my day.  I have not found one variety that I did not like.  Plus, there is another great benefit for this tea.  You don't have to go to some expensive tea shop to purchase it, because it's available many of their varieties are available right at your local Target.

Harney and Sons is a family collaboration that gave rise to HT: Unique and Uncommon Tea blending.  HT is grounded in the Harney tradition of providing the finest quality full leaf tea and herbs, all packed in a stunning silken tea sachet.  This year, Harney and Sons sent me four different varieties of HT Blends to review for my readers.  Each one is a matchless blend developed to pique the interest of your senses: HT Holiday Tea; HT Pumpkin Spice; HT Vanilla Comoro; and HT English Breakfast.

The HT Holiday Tea is a blend of special holiday blend of  Chinese black tea spiced with citrus, almond, clove, cinnamon, safflowers and vanilla.  Drinking this tea gives you a true feeling of the holiday spirit.  The sweet spicy taste combined with a fruity fragrance just makes sitting in front of the Christmas tree so much more special.  Brew with hot boiling water, steep for five minutes and enjoy.  This is a strong body tea that has a caffeine content of the Holiday Tea is 40 to 60 milligrams.

The tea that gets us started in the morning is the HT English Breakfast.  I have had so many tell me of other English breakfast blends to try, but none can compare to the fantastic and vivacious flavor of the HT English Breakfast.  Harney and Sons have chosen Kenya and Kenilworth teas for this blend.  The golden tips of Milma are reminiscent of the Assam and the bold leaves of Ceylon's Kenilworth are very mellow.  This is truly an invigorating blend of tea that has a bit of a 'malt' flavor making this English Breakfast truly unique.  Like many English, we enjoy this tea sweet with whole milk or half-n-half.  To brew, just pour boiling water over the sachet and let steep for five minutes.  It's a nice dark color of tea that will give you a warm welcome to your day.  Oh, another benefit for some - it's Kosher!

If you would like a decaffeinated black tea then you may like HT Vanilla Comoro.  In the evenings, I like to enjoy a decaffeinated tea.  I have not been able to find too many black decaf teas that I like, and I have never had a vanilla tea before, but the Vanilla Comoro is delicious!  This dessert tea has only 1 milligram of caffeine, and is Kosher.  It's a light bodied tea that is relaxing with it's smooth and sweet aroma of vanilla.   Because of its being a decaf tea, the color of this tea is lighter.  To brew, just steep for five minutes in a cup of boiling hot water.

Here is another holiday blend that we love to enjoy for the whole holiday season - HT Pumpkin Spice.  This is a total herbal blend of tea that gives you a nostalgic feeling every time you drink it.  Its ingredients are rooibos, natural pumpkin flavor, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg.  It brews up bright red, and I wanted to show you this with the clear glass mug above.  The warm spices bring to memory days of pumpkin pie baking in the oven.  Just a fine blend of flavors that is truly unique, and other brands cannot compare to.  Since it is a total herbal blend, there is absolutely no caffeine, is Kosher, and easy to brew - hot boiling water and steep for five minutes.  The HT Pumpkin Spice is an herbal celebration of harvest time.

Harney & Sons Tea Company sells fine teas at a price that makes tea an everyday luxury. Our tea is sipped around the world in homes, hotels, restaurants, cafes and on cruise ships. The process of shipping tea from the world’s tea gardens to Harney & Sons’ production facility for blending, bagging and packing, then on to the world’s teacups, impacts our increasingly fragile environment. What could we do to give back to the environment that grows the tea of the world?

In 2006, Michael and Paul Harney decided membership in 1% For The Planet would provide Harney and Sons with the opportunity to drive positive environmental change in their upstate New York area.  The Harney family and staff are very proud to be part of this fine global organization working toward protection of the environment 1% at a time. As of this year Harney and Sons (with your help) will have donated over half a million dollars to 1% for the Planet.
