Kishi Premium Ceramic Paring Knife - Review

A good sharp paring knife is an essential kitchen tool.   Having a good sharp paring knife is really a safety issue.  If your knife is dull, there is a more likely chance that you will cut yourself.  Why?  Because you are putting more pressure on the knife to cut.  The more pressure, the faster the blade will move and if your finger is in the way, you don't have the best control to stop the knife from coming right on down on that finger.

I have heard so much recently about how sharp a ceramic knife is, and have been wanting to try one.  With many thanks to Kishi, I have a ceramic knife to see how it cuts.

I am very happy with the Kishi Ceramic Paring Knife.  It feels good in your hand, and the handle is made so that it will not slip in your hand.  It is super sharp and slices through your food like its butter.  It also has perfect balance.

Kishi is proven to deliver a long lasting heavy duty sharpness, leaves no odor, and can work with a wide range of foods. Its ergonomic design-the knife will give you perfect balance and feel when you cut. It renders a wide variety of cutting tasks effortless, from chopping, to mincing, slicing and dicing. These distinctively shaped knives utilize the purest ceramic. With each blade close to the hardness of diamonds, they are able to preserve their razor-sharpness 10 times longer than traditional steel blades.

I wanted some lemon peel for lemon bars that we were going to make.  The Kishi Premium Ceramic Paring Knife easily slid right under the peel and gave me great very thin lemon peel slices.  Then is quickly minced them up for the bars.

To show you how sharp the knife is, we cut some slices of lemon.  They are so thin and perfect that you can see through them.

It's super sharp, light as a feather and cuts through almost anything.  The Kishi Knife is made of genuine ceramic, composed of one of the hardest minerals in the world. Kishi Ceramic Knives surpasses the hardness of a steel knife and produces more precise results. Slice like a Pro!

The Kishi Ceramic Knife is odorless and never rusts or change color. It also resistant to cross-contamination so foods can retain their original color and flavor. This makes your kitchen both healthy and friendly.
