Wordless Wednesday with Linky - CH-53E Sea Stallion Helicopter - January 14, 2015

Around our house used to be an area where we would get the Marine's flying by in their helicopters almost daily.  We love to run outside and wave "Hi" to our great marine pilots to show them our support.

Sometimes my husband jokes that we need to paint a target on the roof of our house.

Have a great day, everyone!

  1. Waving is good, but I'd skip the target.

  2. I too am from Southern California. I'm sure those hills have turned a beautiful green after the rain we received.

    1. In the backdrop is a desert. The weeds are starting to grow for spring, but it will not turn green. Wish they would, though. I miss green.

  4. Those are awesome shots, Danielle! We live near a small airport where we're in the flight pattern for all the little planes - my favorite is a bi-plane I'll have to get pictures of. We're also not too far from the Joint Base Lewis-McChord and have some awesome military jets and copters pass overhead every so often. Nothing like your shots, though - ours are further away but I'm gonna have to follow your lead and see if I can any worthy ones! :) And I'm giggling over your hubby wanting to paint a bullseye on your house. My hubby wants to paint something funky on ours, too. ;)
