Blessed Sleep With Sweet Dreams Awaits With a Mediflow Memory Foam Waterbase Pillow - Review & Giveaway - ends 2/21/15

Do you find that when you wake up in the morning your neck feels just stiff and sore?  Like you hardly slept at all; just like one terrible nightmare?  With your restless night, do you feel listless all day and a bit stressed out?  It could be your pillow causing that nasty sleeplessness.

Take a good look at your pillow.  Is it hard, flat, or lumpy?  Or perhaps it just too big, too fluffed out.  In either case, your pillow may not the right size to support your neck properly.  What if I tell you that you can get a pillow that you can properly adjust to perfectly fit under your neck whichever way you lay in bed?  You can get that perfect pillow with the MediFlow Memory Foam Waterbase Pillow.

The MediFlow Memory Foam Waterbase Pillow is a cozy little waterbed of a pillow designed to cradle your neck and head in comfort all night long.

On the bottom of the pillow is a pouch for water!  Yes, an easy-to-fill pouch for water.  When you turn in your sleep, the water adjusts the pillow to perfectly conform under your head to support your neck at the right height whichever way you sleep.

A higher quality of sleep helps you look and feel better. In a published clinical study conducted at the world-renowned Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, doctors found that MediFlow Waterbase sleep pillows ranked best overall in all aspects of quality of sleep tested, including how fast subjects fell asleep, how few times they woke up and overall quality of sleep.

You might remember that I reviewed the MediFlow Waterbase Pillow filled with fluffy polyester a few months ago.  This MediFlow Waterbase Pillow is different from the other as this one has memory foam.  On the top is a generous layer of an extra soft foam cushion that is cool gel infused and then ventilated to allow air to circulate completely through the foam cushion and away for the head for extra comfort. The bottom foam layer is firmer foam springs that provide proper support for a neutral spine position.

Beneath the memory foam layer is a thermal insulator that surrounds the water pouch at the bottom.  Like it said the pillow is so easy-to-fill.

First you take the funnel which also acts as a wrench to unscrew the cap on the back of the pillow.  Once the cap is removed, screw the funnel on in it's place.

Now it's ready to fill with water.  It's quite easy to fill, just hold the pillow upright in a chair or against a big strong guy - like my son.

The amount of water varies for the degree of firmness that is desired, and it ranges from 2-5 quarts of water depending if you wish soft, medium, or firm comfort.

Since I was sleeping on a contoured memory foam pillow, I am used to a firm pillow, but five quarts of water was just too firm for me for this pillow.  I removed around two quarts of water, and now it's at a perfect medium firmness for me.

When you are finished filling with water, make sure you press down on the pillow gently to rid the water pouch of all the excess air that you can before you put the cap back on to prevent the water from sloshing around as you sleep.  Wrench the cap on tightly with the funnel, and you are ready for some blessed sleep and, ah, sweet dreams!

The cover on this pillow is machine washable.  Just empty out the water, zipper open the cover, and remove the foam core (this is not washable).  Then just machine wash the cover on a delicate setting and tumble dry on low heat.  I plan on doing this when I need to change the water once a year.

I have been getting some very blessed sleep and dreaming sweet dreams since I have been sleeping on the MediFlow Memory Foam Waterbase Pillow, and I thank MediFlow so much for sending me this one since my husband took over my other MediFlow Waterbase Pillow.  Oh, he has been getting much better sleep as well.
