Nickerbacher, The Funniest Dragon - A Comical Tale That Celebrates the Fulfillment of Dreams - Children's Book Review & Giveaway - ends 4/24/15

What does it take to make your dreams come true?  Passion? Practice?  A willingness to defy your natural duty?  For one lovable dragon, all this and more in Nickerbacher, The Funniest Dragon.

Meet Nickerbacher, a sweet-tempered, bushy-browed dragon who spends his days guarding Princess Gwendolyn and dream of being a fearsome beast? Having a bed of gold?  NO!  Nickerbacher dreams of being a stand-up comic.  That's not what you think of what a dragon dreams his profession should be!

He is true to his duty as a dragon should be - just as his Papa wanted, but Nickerbacher wants only to make the world laugh.  Princess Gwendolyn is supportive and encouraging, telling him he needs to do what makes him happy.  It isn't until the dashing Prince Happenstance comes along, ready for a fight, that they realize that instead of battling each other, they should do what's in their hearts and pursue their true desires.

With a winning set at The Comedy Castle and his family's newfound support and pride, it's all laughter, happiness and dreams come true for the good-natured dragon!

Nickerbacher, The Funniest Dragon is a totally fun book.  It is so inspirational to witness how Nickerbacher aspires his dreams while also winning the support of his family.  My whole family enjoyed the book so much.  With this book, a child learns that no matter what a person should follow their dreams.

This is a book for any child to read as the moral of the book is to encourage kids to be themselves and follow their dreams.  Well written by Terry John Barto and beautifully illustrated by Kim Sponaugle, Nickerbacher, The Funniest Dragon will sure to make a big hit with children everywhere.

Nickerbacher, The Funniest Dragon is an Award Winning Book!

Nickerbacher, The Funniest Dragon just won Mom's Choice Gold , Story Monsters Ink Seal of Approval (with a perfect score!),  NAPPA Bronze  and was a finalist in the Beverly Hills Book Awards. In making the announcement one of judges for Story Monsters Ink said “The expressions on the character’s faces really help to facilitate the story and personalities of the characters. The kids and I enjoyed reading this. We shared some good laughs.” A student judge said "Everything was perfect! I loved it! It was awesome!”

After reading Nickerbacher’s story, children ages five to eight (I think it's fun for all ages) will learn the value of being themselves while still respecting their parents. The book comes in traditional format, as an eBook and as a downloadable application. Readers can find Nickerbacher, The Funniest Dragon at Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble and many book stores.
