#Review - Baking Is Just Easier With Silicone Baking Mats from 1Easylife

We bake a lot, and when we bake on a sheet pan we no longer reach for cooking spray or parchment paper for non-stick cooking, we grab a silicone baking mat.  I recently got a new two-pack of 1Easylife silicone baking mats to review.  Not only do they line our pans, but they are making our baking so much more simpler.

The 1Easylife Silicone Baking Mats fit an ordinary half-sheet pan quite well.  They fit perfectly on the length, but the width comes a little shy of reaching the edge, but it's not by much.  These are great mats for rolling cookies or pie dough out on as they have the measurements to help you out.  In the middle for when you need to roll items in a circle in a '5-6-7-8-9-10' inch diameter, and the edges give a ruler measurement in both inches and centimeters.

It's hard to see in the pictures that we took, but there are also yellow circles for cookie or roll placement on the sheet.  Above you can see that my husband was preparing sweet peach rolls, and he placed one on each of the small circles.  He used no oil or cooking sprays, and placed these sticky rolls right onto the 1Easylife baking mats.  When they were fully risen, he popped them into the oven.

Here the sweet rolls are fresh right from the oven.  Even though these rolls were cooked at 350 degrees, these silicone baking mats can take much more extreme heat and can take temperatures up to 480 degrees.  These sheets are made of glass fibers that are food grade silicone covered with a thickness of 0.7mm, and are among the thickest silicone baking sheets you can purchase.

It was easy to transfer the rolls from the pan to the cooling rack.  We have found that there is really no need to take our baked goods off the silicone mat to let them cool.  Plus, cooking our rolls on a silicone mat will ensure that they don't get too brown on the bottom.  That's good for when we cook an larger item - that let's the insides get done before the bottom gets too brown.

Once they were cool, my husband put them back into the cooled sheet pan to frost the rolls.  What a cinch!  The peachy-keen sweet rolls were delicious!

✔ Cleaning is a SNAP: just wipe, or use mild soap and warm water to clean up, no stuck up baked food on the mat surface it is also dishwasher safe
✔ Heat resistant: can be use in a temperature up to 480 degree F and it is reusable for more than 4000 times
✔ Anti-Bacterial: with proper cleaning this baking/pastry mat is safe from micro organisms, and it is also odor resistant
✔Easy storage as it can be rolled up and placed back in its box when not in use.

How to use a silicone baking/pastry mat is not a big deal but choosing the best silicone baking/pastry mat is what really matters the most!  There are many silicone mats out there with lower qualities and lower prices, but they are extremely thin and fragile.  It is very important to find a high quality baking/pastry mat, so choose the mat that you can rely on, well made and offer great service like 1Easylife Dual-use silicone baking pasty mat!  Buy today at Amazon for only $16.99 for two mats and the bonus rolling pin.

  3. My daughter would absolutely love this product. She's the baker in our family. I do the cooking. She out does herself every time. I got her some things for Christmas last year and she went loopy! I'd love to get her these. She has a birthday coming up next month. She would love them. Anything to make life simpler right?
