Great Protein Packed Summer Recipes That Feature the Surprising Crunch of Grape-Nuts - Recipe & Giveaway - ends 8/6 US

There isn't anything like discovering new recipes that deliver great tasting foods to please family and friends.  Did you know that you can make delicious recipes that come with the added whole-grain nuttiness of Grape Nuts?  This protein packed cereal isn't just for breakfast.  With all your parties and picnics that come with summer, you'll be the hit of the party when you bring one of Grape-Nuts new protein packed recipes that are light on calories, but big on taste, that will delight family and friends..

I was sent two boxes of Grape-Nuts to try a few of Grape-Nuts cereal to make some of their new light summer recipes that is offered at their website.  Since Grape-Nuts is a family favorite, it was hard to keep the family from eating them for breakfast so that I could cook with these for dinner.  I love that my kids eat it as it's packed with 6g of protein and 7g of dietary fiber per serving.  Well, to be honest, I wanted them for breakfast myself since I have loved the naturally sweet nutty flavor of Grape-Nuts ever since I was little.

Grape-Nuts was invented by C.W. Post way back in 1897, and those little nutritional nuggets still have the same powerful protein punch that fits in with our modern, active lifestyle.  You will find that the only ingredients are whole grain wheat flour, malted barley flour, salt, dried yeast. with the added vitamins of reduced iron, niacinamide, zinc oxide, vitamin B6, thiamin monoitrate (B1), and folic acid.   Plus you'll find that Grape-Nuts is made with non-GMO ingredients, plus it's soy free.

Cooking with Grape-Nuts added some great flair to our meals.  Since I love Brussels Sprouts, I had a craving to combine the two when I saw the recipe at Grape-Nuts.  This veggie side dish made with a sweet and crunchy touch perfectly complements any meal, plus it's delicious!
