Camping? Illuminate Your Tent With a Bright & Portable LED Lantern From Galactic Lighting - Giveaway - ends 8/29/15 US

Planning any camping trips before the kids go back to school?  If so, then you need to have this little battery-powered LED lantern to illuminate your tent.

Some of my best memories are when I was out camping with my Grandpa and Grandmother.  We would fish, take hikes, explore the wilderness, and just have so much fun.  One thing was missing that I wish I had, a lantern.  Well, back when I was a little girl, the lantern were ones that had a fuel tank and had to be lit with a match.  Efficient, but not very safe for a little kid.

Now in our more technologically advanced world, we have LED lights.  These lights are the perfect choice for safe camp lighting.  No matches, nothing burning, just cool clean bright light that just switches on.  Making sure you get a good one that will last is what you need.

Here's a quality little lantern that is very bright that will illuminate even the darkest of tents from Galactic Lighting.  This light is highly portable, weighs only 0.4 lb and very small (6" height, 3" width and depth).  The light emitted from this little highly portable lamp is ultra bright.  Only weighing 0.4 lb makes this light easy to carry and you can actually pack more than one of these into a backpack without really noticing a weight difference.

This lantern from Galactic Lighting is so easy to use.  It is a safe little light that can be used by children (great for bedtime reading or studying).  Using readily available standard AA batteries means you won't have to worry about trying to power it by waiting for recharging or looking for rare battery types. The tough plastic makes this LED lantern very durable and is ideal for most environments and conditions.

With a touch of the switch, you can either dial it to an ultra bright light, or you can dim it down to a more gentle subtle lighting.  I find that a dimmer light makes a nice night light here in the house (I am always looking for a light to save some energy with).

Let me tell you another good thing about this LED lantern - it's durable.  In our tent, we don't have a hook or anything to hang this lantern from.  We just used a big lobster clip and a small carabiner.  It fell quite a few times, and did not suffer any damage.  What makes this so durable?  It's made out of a very tough plastic which also is another reason that this light is ideal for most environments and conditions.  I can't find anything about the water integrity, but it looks like it could take being taken out in a storm if need be.  Just try to keep it dry.

It's run on three AA batteries, which are not included, but are easily found in almost any store.  I've been using rechargeable AA batteries, and we've been having this light on at a dim setting for a couple of weeks now as a night light.  I have yet to recharge those batteries as the four little LEDs take hardly any energy at all.

This lantern from Galactic Lighting is made in the classic lighting look.  It's really a great little light to have.

  10. I'd use it when I go out to leave food for the stray cats around here at night.
I live out in a rural setting and it gets pitch black at night and well, you know, snakes and creepy crawlies. Gotta keep away from them.
    Thanks!
