Wordless Wednesday With Linky - We're Having a Hot Time - August 19, 2015

We've been having a hot time here in the high desert of Southern California.  Temps have been up to 116° recently.  We were only 113° today.

The heat is great for the Marines.  They have been training quite a lot in the past few weeks.

How hot is it where you're at?

    1. That's about what we are going to be today. We are on par with Palm Springs weather in the summer. We have a rocky mountain that surrounds us half-way. The heat really radiates from the rocks.

  7. It's been in the 90's but we're in our rainy season so the temp. rises and falls with the rain. It's really hot and humid before it rains and then cools off a bit for a while after.

  8. Danielle, you don't live close to those California fires do you??? God, I truly hope not. I saw it on the news and it's totally devastating. I hear people are coming from all of the U.S. to help too! I truly pray no one gets hurt in yet another catastrophe.
