One of the biggest joys in my life is watching my two-year-old granddaughter take great delight in her books. Her mother can keep reading and reading to her, and she just gets so much enjoyment out of it. My granddaughter, Lucille, is going to be thoroughly enchanted with a new personalized book with matching stickers that she will be getting for Valentine's Day from Grandma (me) and Grandpa courtesy of I See Me!
With many thanks to I See Me!, I received their special Valentine's edition of their classic Who Loves Me? personalized gift set to review. This set included the fully personalized Who Loves Me? book where each and every two-page spread is personalized with your child's name and personalized with everyone who loves the child, and a full size sheet of stickers where each and every one of them has been printed with your child's name.
I know that this book is really going to grab Lucille's attention when she first looks at the cover. The story title is personalized to reflect the child's name. For my granddaughter, this book is entitled, Who Loves Lucille?
On the dedication page, you can personalized it with the child's name, birth date, picture, a dedication that you can choose, who the book was given by, and the year given. Being personalized in this way, I know my little Lucille is going to treasure this book for years to come.
This book is written for both girls and boys that are generally ages 0-6. The size of the book is 8.5"x 8.5" and the sticker sheet is 9" x 11" and includes 19 stickers. There are 20 pages altogether if you complete all 6 of the spreads This book has won the following awards: Mom's Choice; Creative Child Magazine; and HomeSchool.com.
All the way through the book, reading each and every page that is full of the love everyone has for Lucille, gives me, Grandma, joy and happiness. The author, Jennifer Dewing, just brings love and happiness alive. The bright colorful pictures, by illustrator Maria Carluccio, look a bit like a scrapbooking adventure and are just brimming over with so many surprises to capture the eye. The text is a bit bigger so that even grandma and grandpa can read it without our glasses.
When Lucille hears her name being read to her, she perks up, and really pays attention. That's what is so great about a storybook that has been personalized with your child's or grandchild's name throughout the storyline. It makes listening to a story so much better. My whole family really loves the book, and we just know Lucille will love it for a lifetime.
For my granddaughter, I received a very pink girl edition of Who Loves Me? There is a blue cover edition for boys, for siblings and for twins. There is even a Who Loves Me? personalized book and personalized Lovie Blanket set. There are also many other I See Me Valentine's Day Gifts to choose from. For me, the best place to find personalized storybooks and gifts is I See Me!
